If someone said to me today

The moon is green, the grass is grey
I'd ask the question right away
What causes you to see that way

If someone cried aloud to me
That they are really truly free
I'd wonder loud and wonder long
If freedom really was their song

If someone said they loved me true
Would I believe and know it too
Would I know exactly what to do
And see it as my starting cue

If someone breathed new life on Earth
Would I see and know its worth
Would sun and moon shine on its birth
